Since its launch in 1993, the Darwin Initiative has:
- committed £80,583,844 to 729 projects in 155 countries.
- held 17 rounds of competition since 1993.
- involved 225 renowned British institutions.
- partnered with 939 organisations in host nations
- contracted the monitoring and evaluation of projects to consultants whose reports so far have confirmed that progress is generally very encouraging.
- published the results in Darwin Initiative Annual Reports.
