Important finance deadline for projects

DARWIN INITIATIVE GRANT EXPENDITURE FOR 2008-2009

We are now in the last quarter of Defra's financial year, and so it is important for Defra to understand as accurately as possible the expected expenditure on your project for the year ending on 31st March 2009. This is necessary to meet government accounting principles.

Project Leaders must supply estimated figures by 31st January 2009. A letter and reply slip is being sent to all Project Leaders. The letter is available below. Any Project Leaders who have not received their reply slip should get in touch with Helen Beech - see contact page.
