The Darwin Initiative
"State of Nepal's Birds" launched
A major new report has been published entitled The State of Nepal's Birds 2010. Published by Bird Conservation Nepal (BCN; BirdLife in Nepal) and the Department of National Parks and Wildlife Conservation, this major new report highlights the plight of Nepal's birds.
The work was funded by the Jensen Foundation, while the effort very much built on the Darwin Project Strengthening Science Capacity of NGOs working with the CBD.
You can read the full announcement on the BirdLife website.
