Ecosystem Services for Poverty Alleviation: Strengthening research capacity in developing countries

The Natural Environment Research Council invites proposals for activities to strengthen research capacity to tackle the complex problems associated with the sustainable management of ecosystems for poverty reduction.

Awards will have a duration of between 6 months to a year, depending on the complexity of the proposed project, and the cost of the award will typically be up to £150,000. Total funds available in connection with this call are £1.4m.

Closing date for Outline Proposals: 30 May 2008.

Closing date for Full Proposals: 31 July 2008.
